We not only look better but we are stronger and more flexible as well. P90X is a great program that gets amazing results if you stick with it. We are going to keep going and doing the workouts we just aren't going to be as strict with ourselves. We may even try P90x Plus in the future. Once again a special thanks to my beautiful Julie who really helped me finish the program.

DAY 90!!!!!

We made it to day 90! I'm just going to do a rundown of the last days and tomorrow I'll post pictures. I could have never made it here if it wasn't for my beautiful wife encouraging me everyday.

day 88
Chest Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X - This video is awesome it gets me pumped and every part of my upper body feels like it is exhausted.

Day 89
Back and Biceps - Another one of my upper body favorites

Day 90-
Chest Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X - decided this video gives me the best overall upper body workout so I finished with this one.

3 days to go

Day 85
Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X- Ouch. I worked really hard and I can tell this last week will be difficult. Push Ups and pull ups and lots of them.

Day 86
Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X- My abs are sore my arms are sore and here I am doing the workout and trying not to die. I am still alive (but barely).

Day 87
Legs and Back - Took a break from the upper body today to kill my lower body. I may never walk again.

That brings me to tonight which is back to the upper body. 3 days left to 90.

Getting Closer

We are down to the last week. It's supposed to be a recovery week. Well, we can recover when we are done with the 90 days. So I am going to do mostly upper body workouts to try to maximize my results this week. Day 90 pictures will be coming soon. Until then here is a picture of me straining like a little girl in the Back and Biceps workout.


It's been tough this last week. With Easter and just being plain tired. We missed a couple of nights and had to do doubles to make up everything. I can't remember what day we did everything so I'll just post the days they were originally scheduled. We are caught up and ready to finish the last week strong.

Day 80
Back & Biceps and Ab Ripper X - I worked my biceps to utter exhaustion and wanted to lay down and not move after this workout.

Day 81
Yoga X - Have I mentioned I hate yoga and Julie is awesome. As we did this video I kept reminding myself that this was the last time this workout cycle I would have to do this video.

Day 82
Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X - I was so tired after this workout. I have wimpy legs that struggle with squats of any kind. Julie on the other hand can do wall squats forever and make it look easy.

Day 83
Kenpo - This video is really easy now. I have to push myself to break a sweat.

Day 84
Rest or Stretch. Julie and I chose rest.

This brings us to today. 6 days to go

10 more days

Here are just some quick updates

Day 71 - Chest & Back and AB Ripper X -
I actually hurt myself doing this exercise. Close to the middle of the video there was a sharp painful burn where my tendon connects to the inside of my elbow. I hurt it doing diamond push ups. I tried to do a few more push ups but my arm gave way. The rest of the video I took it pretty easy doing everything on my knees and isolating my chest muscles the best I could. I was bummed because I didn't get the workout I was hoping for.

Next we missed a few days. I was still injured and we were so busy. We ended up doing two exercises in one day and working through our rest day to make up the days we missed.

Day 72 - Plyometrics
This video is easier now but it still is hard to do.

Day 73 - Shoulders & Arms and Ab Ripper X
This video is harder after you have already done Plyo earlier in the day. I still had to take it kind of easy on my elbow.

Day 74 - Yoga X
Since we were behind we broke yoga into two sections and did one half with Plyo and Shoulder & Arms and Abs. The next half we did with Legs and Back

Day 75-Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X
Abs seemed extra tough and Legs and Back was hard. Maybe I was just really tired from double workouts.

Day 76 - Kempo
We did Kempo and were caught up with all the workouts.

Day 77 - Rest or Stretch
We were actually working out on this day and used the rest day as one of the three days we missed.

Day 78 - Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, and Ab Ripper X
I worked hard on this video and was too exhausted to move after it was done. Julie took care of her pathetic husband. It's a good thing that she can do the videos and take care me.

Day 79 - Plyometrics
I was sweating and jumping and really glad when the video was over.

That brings us to today. Tonight will be Back and Biceps and that will leave us with just 10 day to go.

Yoga Madness

Last night we made up the Yoga date we missed. Julie was awesome as always. I struggled as always. I am doing better than I did before. Below are some pictures of our workout poses.

First up is the amazingly beautiful and flexible Julie. This is a standing leg raise with toe hold while grabbing her opposite hip. I definitely can't do this but Julie makes it look easy.


Next Julie shows the she can not only touch her toes she can grab a Yoga block that is 9 inches past her toes. WOW!!!

In this picture Julie demonstrates the wheel pose. If I was doing this I would be demonstrating how to break my back and then fall and break my neck.

Just a little bonus, Julie raises her leg while in wheel pose. I know it seems impossible but she can actually do this.

Now on to some not nearly as exciting pictures of me showing off my Yoga poses.

Here I am in Seated Prayer twist. Notice I have very nice form and I think my eyes are about to pop out of my skull.

Here I am in Boat position. I have straight and parallel arms and legs. Holding this position for 30 seconds makes my abs feel like they are on fire.

Here I am doing Right Angle Pose. If you go back to earlier posts you will see Julie doing this with perfect form (unlike me here) but I couldn't do it at all back then and now I can barely do it so here is proof.

We're getting better every week.
